The Package Travel Appeals Board
The Package Travel Appeals Board (Pakkerejse-Ankenævnet) is an independent and impartial complaints board established to resolve disputes between consumers and travel providers concerning package travel agreements. The Board aims to offer a simple, cost-effective, and fair alternative to court proceedings for consumers. It is recognized as an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity under Danish law, ensuring decisions are both legally sound and transparent.
The Appeals Board processes cases in accordance with Danish law and relevant case law, and decisions are based on the principles of fairness and legal accuracy. Consumers can file complaints regarding issues such as cancellation, compensation, or dissatisfaction with services provided under a package travel agreement.
Please note: All case processing, including correspondence and submission of documentation, is conducted in Danish. To ensure the proper handling of your case, it is important that all materials and communication are provided in Danish. |
